To take its R&D effort to new heights, Micro Inks has made conscious and sizeable investments, to set up a brand new, fully dedicated R&D centre at Daman. Spread over 10,000 sq.feet, this facility consists of 6 laboratories, each fully equipped with ultra modern and highly sophisticated equipments. This is further complemented by a qualitative think tank of a core group of over 40 highly experienced and trained scientists.

The most important contribution of this R&D effort, has been the development of a unique process technology for making flush pigments, making Micro Inks one of the few companies worldwide to do so. Of specific mention is the development of Alkali Blue, a highly complex pigment, where Micro Inks is one of the only few producers globally.

Micro Inks has also developed high structured visco elastic resins involving complex chemistry. All this has enabled Micro Inks to improve the Quality of its product range visibly, thereby providing better value to its customers.
