"HIPLAST" Color Concentrates :

Micro Inks Limited has launched a range of "HIPLAST" pre-dispersed Mono-concentrate pigments , with innovative technologies , for use in plastic compounds or masterbatches.

These HIPLAST color concentrates are available in coarse granular powder form. They offer following advantages over conventional dry pigments .

  1. HIPLAST color concentrates are non-dusting, so they are easy to handle and keep the environment clean.

  2. These color concentrates are highly dispersed pigment to the finest possible particle size, hence they give excellent dispersion in production of masterbatches or compounds, even on conventional equipments. Also, the polymeric coating on them protects pigment surface from additional agglomeration once the initial dispersion is obtained.

  3. The concentrates have a higher loading of organic pigments.

  4. These color concentrates give higher color strength than the dry pigments during processing because they are highly dispersed.

  5. Better gloss and tinctorial strength can be obtained by using these concentrates and hence they are cost effective.

  6. As the color concentrates are predispersed , compounding of these pigments require lesser shear and lower temperatures which results in lower power consumption, thus achieving higher outputs on the same machine.

The HIPLAST color concentrates are compatible with a wide range of polymer systems like Low & High density polyethylene, polypropylene, EVA etc. Compatibility with other polymers can be determined by trials.

The HIPLAST color concentrates are produced under critical conditions and are checked in fully equipped laboratories. Hence, color consistency of HIPLAST concentrates is better.
